I've finally managed to get to Testament a couple of times after a long time of not playing Guilty Gear (this time, without using any instant kills too). Sad part is, he's still a bastard to beat. The only other times I got beaten was an Axl mirror match and Jam (me) vs. Potemkin. It's true that Axl vs. Axl IS a tough fight.

I also played Zato-1one. Remind me never to use him again. Playing him felt like I had been playing for hours. It took me so long to get to get to Testament. So long in fact that it made me play KoF for only around 5 minutes and won. Zato bored the heck out of me.

So I guess I'll be a dedicated Axl player for a while. I found an awesome combo video for him too. Makes me wish the arcade machine was GGXX instead.

Fun~ Especially that last part. xD

I try too much to be perfect to the point I get lazy or bored. I won't be going anywhere with this bad habit of mine.

For example, I've gotten my "new game" sickness, that is, ever since playing Harvest Moon, I end up starting a new game over and over again. Same deal with Final Fantasy 1 and Pokémon. Heck! I even finished Pokémon already and I still end up doing the same thing. Even when I'm playing Ragnarok Online notes a similarity. The only time I don't do that is when playing fighting games (what's there to restart?).

Speaking of fighting games, I find the KoF "Old Geezers" Team bastards. Not new news but hell they're still a pain. Saisyu is really the easiest of the three, IMO, but Takuma and Heidern are a pain. Even if they didn't fight me at the last round before Rugal, I still find USA Sports Team and Iori Team as a pain. Well, Iori Team less than Lucky Glauber... Ironic really. Rugal manages to become less than an ass compared to these three. Now imagine if it were KoF '98 Ultimate Match as I heard rumors that the '96 Bosses Team (Geese, Krauser, Mr. Big) will be an addition to the before-boss team roster.

That and I haven't even fought against Magaki yet! Dx

Gato's also a pain in Garou. I've noticed I haven't really got past him since I started playing Garou again. Not Kain or Rock.

It's been a while since the last time I wrote in this journal. Heck, even R2/gold_zealot2002 posted more than me recently. Haha!

Saw Liu/runeliu earlier this morning. I dunno. Whenever we talk in the train, the ride seems shorter, as opposed to other people I have talked with. That includes my cousin, my neighbor, some other classmates and former classmates. Liu claims it's because we talk a lot of nonsense. *laugh*

I'm a little bit rusty in KoF lately. I've won a few versus games and, likewise, lost some. I can't touch Mukai for some reason. Then again, I haven't really cheaped him out lately either. Hinako's slowly becoming a favorite though and my gameplay with Whip still rocks. Hehe!

Also, due to the loads of free time I brought to myself, I've gotten real bored easily. So far, I already thought of an idea of two stories. I just have to write them down, somehow. Problem is, both start in the middle of the supposed overall storyline. One of the stories I thought up can stand alone but the other one can't. I guess I still have to outline the latter. Still, I find the latter my favorite because of the tension I intended to put up.

Also, though I already posted this in my devART and Khan/insane_orange already provided an answer, how do you draw a black guy in Manga/Animé style? If all else fails, I'll try to reference Akagi from Slam Dunk. Haha!

It took us 1 hour just to get to Megamall from LSGH but 30-40 minutes going back home to Antipolo. That's how bad the traffic was.

So it started, aside from my dentist finally adding my upper retainers...darn retainers...we headed to me old high school to fetch my mom to their Coop Christmas Party. It was in Dad's/Saisaki/Kamayan, however you call that collective lot. So many people. Thankfully, there were enough staff to keep the food and drinks going.

Since I haven't had Japanese food in a long while, I decided to take as much sushi as I wanted. Octopus, Tuna, Salmon, Eggs, California Maki, I didn't even notice the lack of Ebi sushi. Darn. There should have been some there. Oh and they had Cream Puffs too. I guess Miyuki's advice (Lucky Star) came in handy after all. xDDD

After ordering Ripe Mango Shake (which wasn't fully ripe at all), I got me a white teddy bear~~

Darn! I shouldn't have bought a D-pad. I should have gotten a joystick (I wonder if it's possible to have a USB for that. o_O). I'm still not good with D-pads with the main exception of Nintendo for some reason. Now I'm having fun using my keyboard for KoF games as opposed to last time I complained.

KoF 2k3 on emulator is definitely much harder than I thought. I can't even use Iori's Kototsuki In properly. Gednemmit!

I'm feeling a little nostalgic recently all thanks to the Final Fantasy Tactics A2: The Sealed Grimoire Trailer. *blames Biboy/runeliu for this* Now I feel like I wanna turn back into a kid and run around and go on an adventure. Well, there are my original characters after all~

I learned new stuff at Photoshop today~ Yey! Now I can use the pen tool more easily now! That means, I could finally finish some linearts in the future! =3

And then I got bored and I went forum-hopping again.

I saw two more people on the train going home today. All three of us were wearing Ochre-ish shirts and blue jeans. Hehe~

Someone gave me a counterfeit 10-Peso coin for change (I gotta hand it to you, the arcade lady was a sharp one). Wasted money for nothing. Ah well. At least I have a new piece of metal I could hammer into oblivion.

I bought a new notebook and an ordinary ballpen after a long time. My felt-tip pen died on me for some reason and I just bought that the other week. Wasted money for that. Also, I bought CDs, ABNKKBSNPLAko, and a bunch of pencils and erasers last Saturday. All in all, I lost lots of money and I haven't even started on my daily food and travel expenses.

On another note, I got to download Winkawaks again, along with KoF 98, 99, and Garou~ For some reason though, I find the KoF games harder to play. Maybe I should go get a d-pad...

Yis 'cuz I have this habit of putting lots of Worcestershire Sauce on my steak and rice~ Whoa! That's some steak~

Anyway, they finally got my internet working properly! Yey! Now all I have to do is to download my usual stuff again! I'm gonna get all my lost files back! GYAH! *battle aura commence*

Oh yeah! I managed to capture Kyogre yesterday with its life still green and I didn't even use the Master Ball. It used rest then I just threw two Ultra Balls randomly and it got caught. xD I tried it on Rayquaza too. xDDD

I felt lively today for some reason. I think it started when I decided to doodle Ueno Ayumu with a *stretches arms as far as I can reach* biiiiiiiiiig kite! Whee~ I should remake that. =3

Show and Tell!!

I also got to play around Kim Kaphwan and Ash Crimson very nicely today~ Kim Kaphwan spamming his supers~~and even Mukai falls for them!! xD And for Ash, I got to learn a new pressure move! Ventose (projectile) > sweep (crouch D) > Ventose > sweep > Ventose > sweep... Sometimes I even get to mix up a few more pokes too~ Plus I noticed I haven't abused Nivose (anti-air) lately.

For some reason, I get annoyed with MJ recently. I think its the way he talks, all the stuttering, random babblings and obvious statements he makes. Even Gon agrees which I even referenced to my quote above! xD

It'sh Praidey da Turteenth! Yay me! Lol! It's among the luckiest day for me since I acknowledged it when I was Grade 5. To add to that, I even rode on LRT-2's 13th Train Set and exited on the 13th ticket machine-thingy. Haha!

Aaaanyway, I got myself in the 5th place of my History midterms exam standings, and I'm the highest from all who went solo. xD The exam was originally for pairs. There was even a bonus question which I technically did not answer (I wrote down something irrelevant instead. xD). My professor even said it was a difficult exam. Yay for stock knowledge and essay improvisation~

The fact that I couldn't even move using the S-Groove means I have to really stop abusing the roll function. Even my Ratio-4 Iori can't even get past Stage 1 with the S-Groove, and he's my scariest character too! On the other hand, I FINALLY BEAT SHIN AKUMA! I'd like to thank the seasoned CvS players for allowing me to watch on how to abuse the throw command~

I lol'd at the One-man Army; Ratio-4 Raiden. xD

I also managed to discover a combo with Leona! Who knew crouching A's would connect after Earring Bomb: Heart Attack? ^_^

On a different note, it seems like the people whom I clash in forums all turn out to be female...still, seriously, they could have at least rephrased their posts. -_-

I tried Pirate King in Netopia yesterday. It was...well, still like RO, only making use of 3D sprites instead of 2D ones. Bad thing was, it's so damn laggy, I can't move properly. Must be Netopia. Sorry Liu/runeliu but they don't have Granado Espada on their computers. Maybe when I visit you some time.

I am still not sure whether or not to go to the Eiga-sai next Saturday. I still have to check my schedule. As for a Wednesday, I can't since I have classes early in the morning. If I do, though, I could give Rika/redmoonmurder the ones I got from the US.

I am trying to change my artwork style so I've been meaning to borrow (Marvel) comics from our library lately. Ultimately, I always end up doing the same style I've been doing years ago. -_-

The Kingdom Hearts Re:CoM Twilight Town (Vexen's Death) cutscene dialogue is still stuck in my head. (I was bored so I wrote it down. Also, I believe this is the first time I ever introduced my other-other blog in LJ).

I'm still not doing my job in college properly. 'nuff said.

Yep. Back to the dreaded school hours yesterday and, as expected, missed a lot after a week of absence. On the side note, I get to be on the new building. On the other hand, the door to the stairs on the first floor is closed, many people wait at the lobby just for the elevators to come down/up, the aircon isn't as cold, and the desk on certain rooms aren't exactly what I would want them to be, particulary, there isn't any armrest at all! ZOMGnoarmrests!!

It's the morning classes that are very boring then it becomes interesting later on to the point that my PE every Monday, in spite of the time slot, is Arnis~ Not like the sessions Khan/insane_orange though but a few basic footwork and stances, I think. Then comes to a point that I wasn't able to shut up and now my coach ask me if I could ask friends to show a little demonstration for our class if ever. ... Actually, I just wanna ask where you get the sticks and how much (I get 10 points for owning one =3).

Then, I'm also back to arcade whoring. I never got to Shin Gouki/God Rugal recently though I did manage to defeat Gouki. I did my Kyosuke surprisingly well against him. Rock also held on well to the point that I managed to perfect him with Iori. Also, more Project Justice and KoF whorings. Still not good with Jhun Hoon and Duo Lon for me. I am also the only one my friend knows how to do extra hits for Yurika's combo...if I manage to time it right.

Jake/kokuren_hana also came in by surprise too. He's improved a lot in his PJ gameplay to the point that I thought he was playing Tekken. xD Can't do that in my entire life--I totally suck at versus mode on most games. He also whooped my first team on CvS although I did comment Kyosuke for being poor at competitive gameplay. I liked how I finished him on the second game though. We're down to our last, Iori (me) vs. Cammy. After chipping each other's life bar, I activated a stock and moved back. She jumps and I unleashed the pillars of purple flames right towards her. She was out on the open; she gets hit and gets burned in place as I finally made my move. Well, let's just say I had an extra stock in my hand. =3

I got to meet Urumi/sixthwinemaiden again and brought Shadow Puppets then talked a while. *laugh* My bag is filled with sketch pads~

I wish it was summer already. Finals in college sure is getting a little hectic than usual.

Strong rain at Recto today. I would have wished it was in our place but then again...

Some guy manage to steal me boss fights in KoF 2k3 today. As I said earlier, I'm better at exploiting computer AIs (although takes me a long time) than playing versus battles. Still, I could have beaten Maki, Mukai and even Adel with more ease than that guy did (he lost against both final bosses...).

I have no idea I could easily copy and sketch Daisuke and his spikey hair that easily. o_O Now I want to copy Roxas! xD

Powered Akira and Wild Daigo aren't unlocked anymore. T_T Stupid PJ machine that won't let me unlock other characters...

Vexen in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories is surprisingly easy to beat. Maleficent is a little tougher. Hook is annoying. Ursula is also surprisingly easy (although I did die against her through sheer carelessness). 100 Acre Wood is...well, 100 Acre Wood.

Guile is NOT Ash Crimson. >_<

It's amazing that I can do a lot of things in 5 minutes...it's no wonder I'm bored...
