MOROHA!

I swear! I want to play A.B.A again! I had a fun time using her, even just with her normal mode. Even though I got killed so many times by a scrubbing bastard on the arcade, at least I got to do a few combos with her here and there. Plus, I got to I-no when he wasn't around (although I still have to get used to dodging Megalomania). Masshou was the only thing I had trouble with as I couldn't do the follow-ups. It happened to be qcf+S_b,f+S_hcb+S demmit! I swear, I'm too used to Kyo's Aragami/Dokugami chains.

Other than that, the day pretty much sucked. Khan and Jake didn't get their one hour unlimited Tekken spree since they didn't want to play the yellow swiper games (GGXX was yellow though. D: ) and Power Station was missing Guitar Freaks and Drummania and the second player of SVC:Chaos can't use any kicks. We ended up drinking Coke most of the time. =/

On the other hand, Nigel finally lent me his Diablo 2 installer! Finally, after waiting for 1-2 long years, I can get back to playing again! xD

Dizzy.

It all makes sense now! I should be dizzy in order for me to reach Dizzy! Yay for random one-day sickness at 38 degrees!

AXL BOMBER!!

And Axl's seiyuu in GGX has an awesome way of saying it too~

I've finally managed to get to Testament a couple of times after a long time of not playing Guilty Gear (this time, without using any instant kills too). Sad part is, he's still a bastard to beat. The only other times I got beaten was an Axl mirror match and Jam (me) vs. Potemkin. It's true that Axl vs. Axl IS a tough fight.

I also played Zato-1one. Remind me never to use him again. Playing him felt like I had been playing for hours. It took me so long to get to get to Testament. So long in fact that it made me play KoF for only around 5 minutes and won. Zato bored the heck out of me.

So I guess I'll be a dedicated Axl player for a while. I found an awesome combo video for him too. Makes me wish the arcade machine was GGXX instead.

Fun~ Especially that last part. xD

Oh so THAT'S how Roman Cancel works

I'm actually learning a few advanced techniques in Guilty Gear! :o

Fun. Managed to do a lot of things while messing around the arcade with Sean. We both have nothing else to do. xD

Also:

Axl vs. Axl Overview:
This match is all kinds of stupid. It's worse than Baiken v. Baiken in terms of sheer raw banality. Whereas Baiken v. Baiken is like setting two rocks down and waiting for them to fight, Axl v. Axl is like giving large spears to two hobos and putting them in a sumo ring blindfolded after spinning them around a couple times.

Ouch

Axl Low is awesome but I die when Potemkin comes into play later in the game. D:

DIE POTEMKIN DIE!!!

In any case, I never seem to be able to get to Testament either. *sigh*

Oil, Sweat and Dirt

Too early is right. I came in around 8:30 and by 9 they still weren't there. It wasn't until an hour later 'til I found a few guys in my block. A few practices after that then I escaped and broke free from the group at lunch break.

I met Jake/[info]kokuren_hana around after my lunch. He beat my Axl using Anji Mito. The game was a bit close too--if only Axl could counter Anji's overdrive. xD Since someone was whoring the CvS2 machine, I turned to CvS1. Still very little luck getting to the final stage. I did, however, showed Jake the evils of SNK groove as shown to me by Khan/[info]insane_orange and the computer-controlled Ryu...(Shinkuu Hadouken / Ya Sakazuki SDM > Ya Otome SDM) times God knows how many~

I had to cut somewhere in the middle though and give the game and a token to Jake since my group's been calling me nonstop. A few more practices and adlibs here and there until we finally got to the real presentations. On a side note, I'd probably get nominated for being the best performing actor. xD Good thing no splinters~~

Again no luck getting to the final stage in CvS2 although I did trash Mukai (KoF) again earlier. I didn't get a haircut either...

It came from below

Finally, I got home and read my book! Like a while ago, I was surprised to find the chapters were fairly short. It was fairly easy to understand too. I was around Chapter 4 when I decided to stop for a while and read the rest of them some time. Poor Ender~

Not much on the trip back home. There was only light to moderate traffic around.

Got to love that guy's awed expression even if I lost in the end. I don't know why but my reflexes keep telling my f,d,df + K or qcf,qcf + K with Iori. And man, I was laughing, although silently, when Iori's autoguard kicked in against Ryo's Haou Shoukou Ken! Bwahahaha! I definitely love that hop forward, claw downward, face slam, spinning on air then throw now! Then I passed by KoF 2k1 again. Like usual, I can't get past the third round but I had straights with Vanessa and Kula before I started using Kyo and Iori. I seem to forget what good move to cancel into after Kula's and Vanessa's close C_f + A.

SVC Guile is still a batstard. Any ideas on getting past him? Actually, I wasn't the one playing but a guy playing Ryu did have someone to save him from total defeat. Some other random guy chose Akuma for his character. Not too good though. Honestly, I thought I'd see a lot of spamming of his airborne fireballs, teleports and even the Shin Goku Satsu. Hnope. So when the Ryu guy was losing against Guile again, I decided to challenge (Wow! Me challenging a person other than my friends? o_O)

So I stopped by at Shang and Megamall again today. I decided a quick stop at the bookstores but no Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game on every bookstore I've been into, except for the National Bookstore in Megamall. Weird that they don't have any categories, labels or whatever you call those "General Fiction," "Science Fiction" things. I was gonna leave that place too for "almost no motivation to find anything that is unlabeled," and all other laziness that might have kicked in. Good thing I still browsed the place though! Twee~ Ender!!!

Not much on school either. There's still a line along the accounting office but it's quite shorter than usual. Fortunately for me, my enrollment is still accepted although I still require the certification letter until Tuesday. Seriously, that brought me more relief than anything else right now, 'specially when there's lots of tension going around my life.

So my sister decided to try out vending in the Free Market in Maple Story. Although I've seen it only this morining, I'm already pretty familiar with it. Vending in Ragnarok sure pays off once in a while. Her shop went on until who knows when.

It says...well, not everything...

I would have pretty much sum up my post with that but something else just came up. My classmate was offering me to burn cds for FMA episodes~ Twee!! While she doesn't have every episode (she only has up to 35), I'm not really rushing anyway...

...although this might mean I really would have to get hungry for a while... *shudder*

--------------------------

In other news, I got past Testament using Dizzy! o_O I hardly even get to Testament, let alone defeat him. Then again, I was using Dizzy~ I was only using one strategy: that ice piranha trap thingy followed by a rushdown tactic using K,S,HS > qcf+HS or hcb,f+S and most of them fell for it. Computer Dizzy's a bit~~ though...

charge b, K, S, HS, f+S, u

That was Axl's. Cool! I can now do that combo without mixing up S and HS anymore! Training with Ash Crimson finally pays off. xD

...I still die against Potemkin though. >(

I don't have much with Axl though. I can't use Byakugan on Axl users simply because I hardly see any. There's only a few people who play Guilty Gear in our parts and I only saw one who used Axl...and that was a loooooooong time ago. I only have the combos taught to me by the same person. I can still kill with pokes though. xD

I've also been on a Powered Akira training spree against Demon Hyo recently (our arcade machine sucks. It won't unlock anyone other than Roy/Tiffany in Free Mode). I've learned some new mixups including the time when I subconsciously did a very difficult combo of hers an FAQ referred to. (qcb+P, HP, LP, LK, qcb+K, qcb+P, HK, LK, LK, LK, LP, [hold up] LK, LK, HP, HK, qcf2x+P). I was 3/4ths finished with the combo when I realized it and broke the chain... o_O

I seem to be getting better with Iincyo too. She's quick when you know how to handle her and you don't even need much of her movelist to do it. On the other hand, I had to practice more with Ran since I haven't used her in quite a while. Rusty but all it needs is oil and boom. I also learned Momo's combo everybody loves to hate~ xP

Alphonse, Alfons, I can't see the difference much since I haven't watched Conqueror of Shamballa (or any FMA episodes other than the OAV: Kids) yet...like I care~ They look alike anyway. :P
